The Fringe Fest runs six venues in the Marigny. All Fringe tickets with button accepted, or $8 at door with $3 Fringe button.

One-time purchase of $3 Fringe button required for entrance to all venues and can be purchased at all venues and the Central Box Office.

Café Istanbul

Café Istanbul

Housed within the fabulous New Orleans Healing Center, Cafe Istanbul is a brand new live performance venue. With great acoustics and a professional sound system, plus a beautiful oak stage and flexible seating system, Cafe Istanbul is a great spot for cabaret, dance, music or theater!

Mardi Gras Zone

Mardi Gras Zone

Architect St. (Riverside), New Orleans, LA 70117

Mardi Gras Zone is a neighborhood fixture—a grocery, deli, pizza oven and Mardi Gras supply store all in one. Its stock warehouse on Architect Alley is filled to the brim with beads, cups and everything Mardi Gras. A favorite BYOV last year! Performances are in the rear warehouse. Enter on Architect Street.

Formerly Trinity Church, this gorgeous building is a beautiful raw performance space with stunning natural acoustics. Performances are set against a mottled plaster backdrop that stretches 40ʼ up to the arched ceiling.

Den of Muses

The Den of Muses is a huge warehouse where Mardi Gras floats are stored and made for the mythically outrageous Krewe du Vieux. The high ceilings and fantastical surroundings (colorful, off-color, themed floats line the walls) make it a truly fringe-y venue. Audience enters through Architect Street entrance.

Shadowbox Theatre

The Shadowbox, in the former Marquer Drug Store on St. Claude is a lovely, intimate and versatile performance space that has hosted everything from improv to drama and spoken word to dance. The Shadowbox is a newly outfitted theater, with antique wood stadium seats and red velvet curtains that make it Fringe-y with flair.

Old Firehouse

The Old Firehouse on Mandeville has a rich history with nascent dramatists: it was once a New Orleans Rec. Dept. site that hosted performances and classes for budding young theater artists. Recently renovated, it is now the home to filmmakers and local treasures, Côte Blanche Productions.
